Well, since my feeling on LoM shipping boils down to 'Sam and Annie are cute although I wish they'd acknowledged Sam/Maya a bit more', I'll do Firefly.

One True Pairing Ship:
You know I'm not sure I have one, but I'll list Wash/Zoe because they're the only ones I was really invested in

‘One True Threesome’ Ship:
Hmm, I really don't have one of these but in attempting to answer the question I came up with several possibilities I could support: Mal/Kaylee/Inara, Wash/Zoe/Mal, Simon/Kaylee/Mal...you know for not thinking I'm a Mal shipper I'm able to pair or trio him off with lots of people.

Canon Ship:
Wash/Zoe obviously

‘Not quite canon but should be’ Ship:
Kaylee/Inara...if I vaguely recall the first time I saw The Train Job (back when it was the first episode shown) they were my first 'hey I could ship that' sighting.

"If this happens I'll stab my eyes out with a spork" Ship:
Wash/Kaylee (even pre-dead Wash), as much as I love both characters and think they make great friends, really that would make me full of rage

"You are one sick bastard" Ship:
Simon/River, I get it but I kind of wish I didn't because it's wrong. Possible, but wrong.

"I dabble a little" Ship:
Kaylee/River, Kaylee/Mal, Kaylee/Inara, Mal/River, and probably some other combinations I'm forgetting, I'm not real particular when it comes to Firefly as long as it's well done.

"It's like a car crash" Ship:
Jayne/anyone, and Mal/Inara

"Tickles my fancy but not sold just yet" Ship:
Post-Serenity Mal/Zoe, I can see it working but I'm not sure how exactly.

"Makes no canon sense but why the Hell not" Ship:
Well...seeing my list of likable ships this is pretty open, plus so many of them have awesome chemistry that I'm not sure there's much that makes no canon sense. Oh, how about Badger/Yosafbridge?

"Everyone else loves it but I just don't feel it" Ship:
Mal/Inara, and maybe if the show had gone on longer I would have come around. Or maybe if I had watched it at this point in m,y life rather than when I did, when I was just about fed up with all things canon ship, particularly Joss related. As is though my opinion stands that that ship just wasn't done all that well and they'd just burn each other out.
(Oh and certain segments of fandom's Jayne/River concept makes no sense to me.)

‘Guilty Pleasure’ Ship:
Any combo of Mal/Jayne/Simon, if I'm in the mood for slash it's where I go even if I just don't get it in canon (not to say there's not slash to be seen).

"When all is said and done" Ship:
Wash/Zoe (sob), Simon/Kaylee, Mal/Serenity, Jayne/Vera, Book/Bible
