BSG thought
So...I haven't really been doing the reaction post thing for anything recently, but I thought I'd give some thought on how things are going, starting with BSG.
-Did Bill and Laura get married somewhere off screen, because they're basically acting like it, and no one seems to think it's weird. My Adama/Roslin shipping heart likes the development but I do find it kind of abrupt.
-Lee/Kara continue to be a ship where it seems when I say "Just kiss already" they actually do, more ships should be like that.
-Anders seems like the only one of the Four not going completely round the bend, it's good that he got away from the others. Or maybe he just looks sane playing off Kara.
-I liked Starbuck back when she was interacting with folks on the Galactica, but now not so much. Of course my favorite Starbuck interactions have always been with the Adamas so that's probably a lot of it, they keep her at least a bit Kara rather than special-destiny-girl.
-There hasn't been any follow up to the Roslin-Sharon-Six-Hera visions ta the end of last season, seems like something that ought to be followed up on.
-I know a lot of people don't like Cally, but I always did (except for a few episodes last season, but there aren't many who I didn't dislike a lot at one point or another last season) so...yeah not wanting to hear the Cally-hate.
-I'm interested to see where Lee and Laura's relationship goes with this new development, Lee seeing Laura's actions from the perspective of a civilian and a Quorum member, not necessarily being on the inner circle anymore; yep this should be good.
-I wonder if I'm the only person who at the end of Ep 2, said "Oh yeah, Dee. And Lee and Dee are actually still married aren't they? Completely forgot that." A hiatus of more than a year leads to previouslies (even lying ones) actually having a point, so they maybe should have reminded us of these things.
-If it were me, I would gladly have shoved Leobon out an airlock, I'm like Roslin that way. Don't trust the guy, never will.
-The Six over on the Cylon fleet whose probably dead now, may well be my favorite Six yet, she was just cool. Head!Six used to be cool, but I don't love her so much anymore.
-There's been some acknowledgment that Nicky is also a half-breed, but I'd like to see it explored more at some point. Hera's not the only one.
I probably could have more thoughts, but that covers enough for now.
