That said, I really miss the days when the show wasn't terrible and I still loved and had hope for the characters.
That;s a lot of my problem. I just can't find anything to hold on to in this show(s) anymore. I suppose I could do a rewatch of season 2&3 and try and get my plot bunnies back, but when I do that I just get even less interested in what's going on now.
I don't think I'm quite as disinterested as you are from the sound of it, but I definitely know its not where my heart is right now and I don't know that I expect it to ever be again. I can wander back into fandoms years later and feel like coming home, but I don't really see that happening in this case, at least not fully.
