When Klaus was dessicated I always wished they had actually left him out of things for a while and waited to bring him back when he could he a real impact on things again. And in spin-off land he's able to impact things in a way he really wasn't able to in MF fr a while. It's the flip side of what happened with Elijah, to keep him from running the show they kept sending him away while Klaus wouldn't go so he just got kind of useless. The spin off is a much better solution.
