I want a lot more scenes between Elijah and Elena, because their scenes are usually like the best hings ever. The show was pretty quick to sweep Finn's death away all around, I mean the next episode Rebekah was back to flirting with Matt who was the one who just killed her brother, you'd think that might have put something of a damper on things.

To Shut the World Away (the sequel). I confess to the characters not being quite so...intense in that one, but it was kind of the point; they're taking a time out from most of their problems, or at least just dealing with a smaller set of them for now. Hopefully the characterization still works for you though.

On another note, I feel it is my duty as beta reader for turtle_goose's Family Business series to direct you towards it. It's a bit more fun than my little story line here.
