Just writing these two talking, and really airing it all out there, was great. And there's plenty more they could have talked about but sex seemed like a good idea to them and it was in the prompt :).

Since I was writing from Elena's POV (more than enough going on there) I didn't deal with a lot of Elijah's, but I definitely meant for him to come off as really upset and hurt. And he has every right to be, and Elena knows that, she just doesn't particularly care about that when he shows up because every reason she ever had for doing it had been justified in her mind. And he knows that and it's just SO MANY EMOTIONS INVOLVED.

I have Finn issues too, and it probably showed up in the story, but I think having Finn issues is perfectly reasonable. And if anyone's allowed to have them for me it's Elijah right?

I'm glad the sex worked out, I don't have much experience writing it and I get super awkward when I do, but I hoped this came out okay.
