I can see how they would appeal to younger people, and we're all allowed to read/watch a few things when we're young that our adult selves go "...really?" about. And if I'm telling the whole truth, even if I'd known about them as a kid, I wouldn't have liked them, not because they're dumb but because I never liked vampires all that much (I still don't really, as much as my Buffy and TVD fandoming might hint otherwise).

But now I'm just reading them for the lulz, and maybe a little for the better understanding of the show's roots. I plan to keep going, because it is rather fun poke fun of them at least.
