Vote Troy
It's the finale of Fandom March Madness, and it's Troy vs. Eleven and in case you don't know where I fall
My reasoning goes like this.
Here's a representation of why I'm voting for Troy played out in hypothetical other contests.
Tory vs. ROSE:
Rose every single time.
Troy vs. Ten:
Ten, but with some hesitation.
Troy vs. Nine or Troy vs. Donna
REALLY HARD probably DW would win out but I might be persuaded by a good argument.
Troy vs. Jack/Sarah Jane/Mickey/Harriet Jones/Wilf
Catatonic with indecision
Troy vs. Martha/Tosh/Ianto/Rhys/Jackie/Luke/Clyde/Maria/Rani
Hard, but probably going to Troy in the end
Troy vs. Rory
So..do I show support for the one character I really like on DW these days or one of many that I like on Community?
Troy vs. Eleven
Troy, easily.
In short, Eleven is not an RTD character or even Rory therefore this is an easy thing to vote on (though would have been easier if fandom had given me Rose to vote for)
I mean, Troy is a good character in his own right, obviously I'd still be supportive of him against a lot of other characters even ones from Doctor Who, but what makes this so easy is that it's Eleven, who I have little to no fannish loyalty to.
Maybe later I'll give some more of my thoughts on FMM this year.
