3 is not from a comic book.

8 is late teens/early 20s.

Oh man, I don't really want to be either of them, so the literal, and not very informative answer is I'm more like 1, although (less literally and maybe more informatively) I think it would be easier to become like 7.

I *want* more userpics, but I'm also a cheapskate so I stick with what I have.

I might be completely mistaken but last I read I think LJ might have started selling userpic packages without paid account prerequisite??? Maybe? Could be completely wrong.

8 is blond.

7's family...knows 7's official position, and kind of knows his/her involvement in larger things, but not completely (I think).

Was there a time when 7 could not/did not tell his/her family what s/he did for a living? If so, was this by force or by choice?

8 is indeed Rose Tyler.

There are things 7 keep secret and we never actually see his/her relationship with their family so it's hard to say what they know, but I assume that things were kept secret for political/military reasons.
