Add to that that Jack appearances in the last couple seasons had a distinct Jack/Daniel feel to them (not that I exactly ship that either). But yeah, the thing I *want* to ship Jack/Sam, I just...don't exactly.

I hadn't really tried to put words to my Shep/Weir dislike, and I'm not sure that's what I would have used, but hey, at least you have words, and I can kind of see it. There is something very familial about their relationship (not that I can really claim that as a stopping point for me consistently).
