I guess that's part of the difference, of the main cast Robin isn't even in my top five favorite characters and doesn't beat many (Kate and Tuck though...). I don't exactly hate hate but I can pretty much take or leave him.

I keep thinking it would be sort of an interesting angle if Robin didn't see Kate that way because she's one of the Locksley peasants, I doubt the PTB are thinking that, but it interests me to see it that way. but then I'm all for exploring Robin's flaws way more than the show does.
