I just misread the story Joss was telling, I get that now, but the first half or so of the show is so lulzy that the fairly abrupt shift in tone at the end always jars me out of the storytelling even though I know it happens. (well it's like going from Walkabout/TotN to the RH s2 finale, the change in tone never feels completely smooth)
